Welcome!I registered this domain a while ago with the intention of trying some things to see if I could make any money from it. Well, with a main job where I travel all over the country, a second part-time job on the weekends, and 4 kids, I never did much with it. Yeah, I tested a few things & learned how to do some neat stuff, but I have kept it "maintenance" mode from day 1 so nobody could see it. I was thinking not long ago that it would be cool to have a site where family & friends could post pictures to share. It hit me that I had this domain doing nothing, so I decided to setup a sub-domain for that. You can get to it by first going to the Photo Gallery Rules page (and actually reading the rules), then clicking the link there. You do actually need to register to post anything. It will send you a confirmation E-mail to the address you provide before your account becomes active. I installed an open source program called Coppermine & tested it a little. I initially expected it to just be a little program that showed photos, and I would have to upload using FTP. To my surprise, I found that it's a real application that allows anyone to register, create public or private albums, upload directly from the web, and view other users' pics (if they are in a public album). I sent out a couple E-mail's to family & friends with the link. I am hoping that people start using it. I think it can be a fun thing if we get some participation. Next comes step 2 - Actually putting something on the domain itself. Since most people are just used to typing something like "www.domain.com," I figured I should get something to come up if someone goes to www.tonyslinks.com other than the "Under Construction" message that has been showing up to now. I decided to just put up a small generic site using Microsoft FrontPage, so it won't be anything earth-shaking - That is, unless I suddenly find myself with time on my hands. Based on what I said above about the jobs & family, I don't see that happening any time soon though! Enjoy, look around, and please upload some photos!
